Clean Out Your Inbox

Do you waste time every day swiping away at junk email? One way to limit the amount of junk mail you get is to unsubscribe from unwanted mailing lists. Most emails will contain an “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the page. Just click this button, and you will no longer receive emails from the site. Doing this should only take 15 or 20 seconds, and if you can dedicate a few minutes per day to this, your inbox will be looking clean in no time.

Put Down the Phone While Driving

As great as our cell phones are, we need to know when to put them down. In 2017, over 37,000 traffic fatalities were recorded, and although texting while driving may not be the only reason, it is definitely one of them.

One way you can try to eliminate cell phone use while driving is by using a phone mount. This will keep your phone near eye level, so that you can glance at directions without needing to look down at your device.

Another way to eliminate cell phone use while driving is to enable a “driving mode” (Android), or “do not disturb while driving” mode (iPhone). Using these modes, your smart phone can automatically respond to any incoming messages with a canned response that you are driving and will reply later.
